Event Photography

In June 2024, I shot my first professional event as an event photographer. It was Open Sauce 2024, a massive tech conference hosted by Cow Palace in Daly City, CA. The event brought about all sorts of interesting challenges--everything from shooting in extremely low light, to learning when to be invisible as a photography, to waiting for the ideal moment to take a shot. I'm pretty happy with the results!

In late June 2024, I shot All Star Sumo, a sumo wrestling event hosted by Cow Palace in Daly City, CA. I was tasked with grabbing some quick shots of the crowd and wrestlers. I had to contend with low light and fast action from the wrestlers, but ultimately it made for a fun and epic experience.
