To further hone my lighting skills, I chose reference images to match from a few of my favorite films. I chose Moonlight, Blade Runner, Whiplash, and Good Time. I aimed to match the reference images as closely as possible, while trying to account for the small details present in the lighting of each frame. I made use of methods such as reverse key lighting, flagging, HDRIs, and more.
